Artwork for A Fictional Time Capsule.

Tools: InDesign, AfterEffects

Platform: Digital, Web

Role: Specular User Design; Fictional Design

During my time at Cal Arts I got inspired by the concept of having a time capsule shooting back from future; also the idea happens after a trip to the JPL that had me thinking of the Golden Record carried by the Voyager Satellite; the record contains all the history of human race and flies across time and space.

I wanted to elaborate on that fascinating idea of human existence in the universe and make people think of how we relate to our environment and planet. The capsule is essentially a glass box that each side has a graphic (below) explaining what could happen to our race in future if we neglect the consequences of environmental pollution.

I initiated the side project, a poster diary throughout the time of summer 2018 to explore ways to express events and happenings using design softwares.

I created a digital poster/artwork back in 2010. I tried to recreate a dream that I had before then. I also had some fun with using photoshop to make the scene look as if it is time-travel.
